Amazon Bargains

Bezos: The Beginning is one of my favorite recent business movies. It is the origin story of Amazon (AMZN), where I buy almost all of the stuff I need. I hate shopping and prefer to spend all of my time working, working out, with my family, or off on adventure. It is transformative that I can get my everyday needs met with zero logistical bother.

As it is Prime Day, I want to highlight a few of my favorite things that you can get delivered free and easily from Amazon. The first is their Prime Visa card which comes with a free $200 Amazon gift card if you order it today.

So what can you spend that gift card on? My favorite sub-$200 purchase is Apple (AAPL) AirPods Pro which are normally $249 but are $199 today, 20% off for Prime Day. I use mine constantly, listening to podcasts when I walk the mile to work.

But if a few separate family members get the Visa (V) card today, what can you get for $400? My pick would be their Vitamix, normally over $600 but available for 37% off today. I make protein shakes with mine every day. It is far more powerful than any other blender I’ve used and it will last forever. Per use, it is a good value even at a high price point.

Three alternative things I love that are available for deep discounts today: my Dyson air purifier (for anyone coping with fire smog this summer), travel noise cancelling headphones, and the best electric toothbrush (a bargain compared with drilling). If you ever want any of these, get them today.

Conclusion

Lines are for socialists. Don’t waste any of your limited life expectancy shopping.
