As much as I love scooping up sign up bonuses, I don’t usually bother when they require setting up direct deposit. But I found one that seems worth it. With SoFi Plus, I can get their highest APY on savings. Good (if still short of Frec’s current 4.06%). Their card offers up to 3.3% cash back (at times above Robinhood’s flat 3%). I haven’t used them for anything, but this also gives clients access to their SoFi Wealth financial planners for no marginal cost. You get an unlimited 1% match on recurring deposits. The quantify the combined value at over $1k per year which is probably valid. With direct deposit, you avoid the $10/month fee. I hate recurring fees, so that is a plus.
